In the 1950's, he began showing the art of photography, silk screening, sculpture, film, and music. His style was to show objects and relating them to advertisement. By the beginning of the 1960s, Warhol had become a very successful commercial illustrator. His usage of typography and many different sources of art greatly made him known world-wide.
I think that Andy's work is great, however his style doesn't match mine because it is not that artistic. I would say that he should make more pleasure in the paintings instead of making it a plain objects. However the usage of advertisement and celebrity art is very smart.

I really like the aspects he adds to these already taken photographs. His personality really shows through in his choices. He doesn't hold back with what he adds, I love this.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I very much enjoy Warhol's art. He really captures the movement of what has come to be known as "digital art" through his utilization of pop culture and everyday objects in his art. He truly was a pioneer.
